Umesh Krishnan – Fractional CFO

Umesh is a a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the areas of strategic financial planning/analysis, budgeting, cashflow/capital management, and scaling businesses. Has led Finance & Operations teams in companies ranging from start-up ($5M+ range) to Fortune 500 (~$10 Billion). Industry experience is Banking, Retail and Hospitality with specific focus on Information Technology and E-commerce.

During his stint at Hewlett Packard and NCR, helped improve top and bottom line through organic/in-organic growth and productivity initiatives. Also managed a Business unit divestiture while at HP and helped in the merger with CSC to form DXC. Additionally while at NCR, helped make 2 acquisitions in the Banking/Retail/Hospitality industry which helped in unlocking shareholder value.  Umesh has also extensively worked in building FP&A teams inclusive of setting up ERP systems, KPI reporting and closely working with controllership.

In the SMB arena,  Umesh has helped achieve exponential growth in 2 companies, orchestrated VC Fund raises and a Private equity exit. Is relation-ship centered keeping the SMB Owner’s best interests in mind and results focused helping alleviate business challenges and creating lasting value beyond financial oversight.
