  • Extensive experience in the Tech sector. Grew Apple UK by x10 and instrumental in successful multiple product launches, expansion into distribution channels and development of business models for new lines of services.
  • Developed business cases leading to the funding and establishment of the Digital Catapult, leading as CFO since inception to current 10th year of making impact in the early adoption of emerging technologies in the UK. Was instrumental on the set-up of the businesses from scratch, hiring of teams, strategy development, processes and controls through to stakeholder management, impact measurement and a successful result driven enterprise.
  • Commercialising technology - Extensive experience of understanding and delivering on taking products from idea to commercial scale for various organisations. Ambitious and practical in working with teams to move through the technology readiness levels and commercial readiness levels so that road maps are set out and goals are achieved.
  • Developed and mentored Finance teams. Respected mentor across organisations on EDI initiatives and participated in wider initiatives such as championing under-represented tech founder teams in investor forums/panels.
  • Governance and risk management- Established good governance structures for organisations and have run workshops on the same for SME organisations. Developed a highly effective Risk management framework to enable Management teams and Boards to be confident of the risks and mitigations of the organisation.
