One of four founding members of a start-up technology company who led a fundraise process to secure an initial £50m investment to fund a period of growth for the Company enabling growth to 10,000 customers over a three year period.

Established a commercial finance function, brought financial and commercial reporting in-house and re-designed the financial reporting pack to include budget and forecasting model, commercial and operational MI and increased financial awareness across the business, enabling non-financial employees to develop a greater financial awareness of the performance of the business.

Performed a business turnaround returning the Group from loss making to £7m Ebitda following an overhaul of all business activities and cost reviews and ultimately led the business through a two-year exit process, securing a trade sale and 4X returns for the Shareholders.

Managed the due diligence work for a £5 million acquisition including the review and submission of a detailed report to Executive Board members and liaised with cross-functional teams.

Strong business partnering skills, which saw me become the trusted sounding board and voice for senior leaders and stakeholders making key business decisions.
