  • CFO & COO of HSBCs global credit trading and sales operations across 4 key sites of London, New York, Hong Kong and Dubai, a business with circa 250 trading and sales executives and a revenue averaging $1bn annually.
  • Defined and implemented business lines targets, operating models and managed the control environment front to back with line of sight ownership of Operations, IT, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting.
  • Possesses detailed understanding of global banking and markets, securities services, digital banking and digital banking transformation, global banking and markets front office, finance and operations.
  • Full financial control of HSBC Securities Services, an $11trn administration and custody business with annual revenues in excess of $2bn.
  • Aids the turnaround of underperforming businesses. Drives effective change in systems, processes, teams and culture, reduces costs and mitigates operational risk.
  • Delivered both the strategic and tactical digital transformation for HSBC Commercial Bank (CMB) and the Investment Bank (GBM), running a budget of >$100m per annum.
  • Particular strengths in people management, change transformation and cross business collaboration.
