I completed a degree in Music, before qualifying as a chartered accountant with Arthur Anderson. I qualified with an MBA from the Open University. I worked primarily in film & television for companies including Chrysalis & Granada. I consulted for several businesses including start-ups, providing support on fundraising and restructuring, in areas such as Media, IT & Construction.

I have undertaken numerous financial operations indicatives. From software installation to procedures and compliance.

Most of the work I have been doing recently is around forecasting for either fund raise or listing.

In all the businesses I have either been employed by, or started myself, I have been the key operator in terms of risk assessment and management.

Leadership

Undertaken a number of assignments where I have been mentoring both the board and individual members of a board, primarily around their effectiveness and leadership styles. Also, goal management to align the board.

Cash flow Improvement

Initiated various systems for cash improvement, including invoice discounting and loan consolidation. As well as putting accurate systems in place for effective management of cash.
