  • Managed the successful financial implementation of three fully integrated financial, distribution, manufacturing, and business systems that digitally linked all company locations for the first time. Also implemented a standard cost system on a company-wide basis, which allowed the centralization of the finance function, resulting in annual savings of $1.1 million.
  • Drove continued improvement in the integration of the recent acquisition of foundries and logistics centres in Malaysia and Singapore while at the same time preparing the global group for the sales transaction. Determined a more tax-efficient acquisition structure, resulting in corporate future tax savings of over $1.0 million in Singapore dollars.
  • As interim CFO, performed work evaluating and implementing major cost savings initiatives, financing opportunities, business strategy evaluation, and operational logistics savings and improvements. 
  • Improved the quality of financial reports at the same time as reducing financial staff levels through system process improvements and increased automation of processes, as well as increased detailed variance analysis for operational review of results.
  • Enhanced credibility of financial reporting by eliminating operational and financial report differences. This resulted in the improved utilization of the current financial reporting system to provide more useful information to key operational users.
  • Planned tax restructuring minimizes future cash taxes and maximizes the utilization of loss pools. Deeply involved in the integration of acquisitions from the perspective of new systems and procedures, as well as conversion to a public IFRS reporting entity.
