JP Mills is a former professional footballer for Southampton FC who has channelled his passion for teamwork and performance into the business sector. Since joining The CFO Centre in 2017, a company founded by his parents, Colin and Julie Mills, JP has held various roles and is now one of two Regional Directors in Western Australia. He is excited to assist SME businesses in reaching their ultimate goals with the support of our part-time CFO team. JP’s collaborative approach and commitment to strong team dynamics drive his success in helping business owners, CEOs, and C-suite professionals achieve their vision.

Gary Hill, along with his wife and two young children, relocated from the UK to Perth in 2012 and now proudly calls it home. With a background in semi-professional football, Gary thrives in team environments. Over the past decade, he has successfully operated his own construction business, where his client-focused approach ensures exceptional customer experiences and brings clients’ visions to life.

Gary joined the WA team as Regional Director in July 2024 and is committed to matching the right CFOs to our clients based on their unique needs and business priorities.

Andrew de Bruyn is an accomplished CFO with extensive experience collaborating with numerous business owners to enhance their enterprises and attain both their business and personal objectives. With a career spanning more than two decades in the corporate sector, Andrew transitioned into a new role as a CFO for medium-sized businesses, initially in Johannesburg, South Africa, and presently in Australia. His passion lies in discovering avenues to optimize businesses, with a strong focus on the pivotal areas that yield significant impact.

Andrew Bell is a highly accomplished professional with a remarkable ability to maximize value-adding capability. He demonstrates expertise in both hands-on financial management and providing invaluable assistance to Directors and Management in matters of strategy, risk, and corporate governance. Andrew’s extensive background working with fast-growing small, medium, and large-sized companies has endowed him with formidable continuous improvement and change management skills. Beyond his professional endeavors, Andrew finds great joy in cherishing family time and indulging in the serenity of sailing.

Bruce Land is an accomplished CFO with a fervent dedication to assisting entrepreneurs in nurturing their businesses, enabling them to savor the rewards of their endeavors. With extensive experience spanning diverse sectors, including corporate recovery, banking, and human services, Bruce brings a wealth of financial expertise to the table.

Ajith Gunasekera is a seasoned finance executive with 30+ years of experience across diverse industries, including manufacturing, shipping, banking, and consulting. He excels in providing financial stewardship, advising boards and executives on risk and opportunities, and leading digital transformation initiatives.

 

Robert Hodby is a seasoned professional with more than 20 years of industry experience in various corporate finance roles. With a diverse background, he has provided valuable guidance to both listed and private entities spanning multiple sectors such as resources, biotech, agribusiness, and telecommunications. Known for his hands-on approach, Robert actively engages with all facets of the business, collaborating closely to effectively lead and drive their development and growth initiatives.
